Australia In the Asian Century Emerging Stronger In The Region
Developing stronger ties with Asia, is the focus and foundation of the Prime Minister’s paper on ‘Australia In The Asian Century’. The government has set 25 national objectives on its road to navigating the Asian century to 2025 over the next 13 years
Australia “will emerge stronger over the decades” a strong rhetorical commitment coming from the country’s leader Julia Gillard.

The last event attended by President Aquino was the defense demonstration at Holsworthy.
We believe that the 44 million pesos State Visit to New Zealand and Australia was all worth it and the impact on the Philippine economy will continue to reap the benefit.
The effect of the restoration of the “Pride of being a Filipino “ to the Filipino Australians and worldwide cannot be underestimated.

Study proves eating more fruits and vegetable enhance looks
Let us eat more fruits and vegetables and minimize buying facial make-up and lotions. Researchers and scientist at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland did 2 studies to analize natural changes in the fruit and vegetable intake of 35 students for six weeks.
Finding was 2.9 servings of fruits and vegetable was enough for the students to result to healthy appearance, with more servings associated with looking healthier. 3.3 Servings of fruits and vegetables was enough for them to result to attractiveness- with more servings associated with better looks.
Fruits should be eaten fresh upon peeling. Long standing as in juices and fruit salad destroys the vitamin C and minerals. Vegetable salads are better eaten than cooked vegetables. The best way to cook vegetable is through steaming and blanching.

If you have been following the cholesterol story, you probably know already that knowing the total cholesterol level is just part of the story. Determining the blood level of good cholesterol called high density lipoprotein (HDL) and bad cholesterol known as low density lipoprotein (LDL) is more important than finding out the total cholesterol level.
Today, medical specialists and researchers are putting a lot of emphasis in lowering down LDL with the belief that it is the form of cholesterol that leads to clogging of our arteries with plague (arteriosclerosis). They insist that the key is to reduce LDL hoping that it will decrease the odds of someone developing cardiovascular disease.
Do you know though of the latest findings implicating a more dangerous form of LDL that we should be aware of? If we are scared of LDL per se, we should be doubly fearful of this nastier form of LDL. Why so? It appears that it can decrease the level of HDL, the good cholesterol. Furthermore, it can also trigger inflammation.
Well it’s over and it’s hard to judge, at this stage just what was achieved. Philippine authorities kept the pubic press and Australian Government in the shade at to what the major points of discussions were to be. The President’s special relationship
and strategicpartnership plan announced well before he arrived in Australia did not fly well with the Australian Government. The only comment in the papers was that, reading through the lines and diplomatic niceness, the President’s desires were a “bridge too fat”.
