RULES For LIFE, RULES For HAPPINESS And
REASONS To TRUST GOD
There is this very familiar quote in life which says: “YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.” Indeed, and I believe this verse is NOTHING new to anyone. Some people live their lives based on this dictum. And they realise that if you SOW negatively, you also REAP negative results. And if you sow POSITIVELY, you REAP POSITIVE RESULTS in return! Hence, this ACT that you do in life - either positively or negatively - can also affect YOUR HAPPINESS or UNHAPPINESS. However, having said that, YOU should TRUST the LORD, DO POSITIVE THINGS in YOUR LIFE, and REAP POSITIVE RESULTS and BENEFITS!
I have read that there are 7 CARDINAL RULES OF LIFE that IF YOU/WE FOLLOW or LIVE them, YOUR/OUR LIVES CHANGE, and here they are: (1) Make PEACE with your past so it won’t disturb your present, (2) WHAT OTHER PEOPLE THINK OF YOU is MORE of YOUR business, (3) TIME HEALS almost everything given it TIME, (4) NO ONE IS IN CHARGE of your HAPPINESS except YOU! (5) DON’T COMPARE your lives with others and DON’T JUDGE THEM because you have NO IDEA what their JOURNEY is all about, (6) STOP THINKING TOO MUCH because it is alright NOT to know the answers. They will come to you when you LEAST expect it. (7) SMILE! You do NOT OWN ALL the problems of the world! Therefore, I believe that if YOU make an effort to FOLLOW and LIVE these 7 Cardinal Rules in Life, LIFE will be lived more positively, pleasantly and happily! It is worth a TRY, don’t you think so?
To LIVE the RULES of LIFE, there are also 6 Simple Rules For Happiness to achieve: First thing is - FREE YOUR HEART FROM HATRED; secondly, FREE YOUR MIND from WORRIES; thirdly, LIVE SIMPLY, (4) fourth rule is - GIVE MORE and lastly, EXPECT LESS. These 6 SIMPLE RULES may NOT appear difficult to ACT ON BUT, we have to remember that ANYTHING OR EVERYTHING WE WANT TO ACHIEVE FIRST STARTS IN THE MIND. Either we ACT on them, or plainly IGNORE them and ACHIEVE SOMETHING, OR NOTHING! That simple!
HENCE, in this connection, I would say the are 6 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD TRUST THE LORD:
HE KNOWS YOU BY NAME:
(Isaiah 43:1)
HE THINKS ABOUT YOU:
(Psalm 139:27)
HE WILL FIGHT FOR YOU (Exodus 14:14)
HE IS YOUR REFUGE (Psalms 62:6-8)
HE HAS A PLAN FOR YOU
(Jeremiah 29:11)
HE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU
(Matthew 28:20)
So dear READERS, going back to my introduction, “YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.” However, TRUST in the LORD to give you the desires of your heart: To Live the Rules of Life and Rules for Happiness to be able to live a successful and happy life! I HOPE for YOUR HAPPY And SUCCESSFUL LIVING, EVERYONE!

  • Smart tech takes focus for Qld’s Privacy Awareness Week 2020
    Queenslanders are being urged to be vigilant when it comes to using smart technology and sharing personal information – a timely message given the increased use of technology and devices during the current pandemic.

    Queensland Privacy Commissioner, Phil Green, said it’s important for people to be privacy aware, look out for themselves as well as those who might be less tech-savvy, including children and seniors.
    “Privacy Awareness Week runs from 4 to 10 May and this year’s theme isBe smart about privacy,” Mr Green said.

    “We live in a digital world and are constantly surrounded by smart technology in the home and in the community from smart phones, TVs, home-assist devices, security systems, cars and smart city initiatives introduced by governments.

    “The current COVID-19 health crisis has brought with it a raft of changes and individuals and families are busy navigating working from home, schooling from home and staying connected to family and friends through technology.

    “I have a smart phone in my pocket right now, as would most Queenslanders. Being constantly connected to the internet through smart technology increases the amount of data, or personal information, that’s collected about us,” he explained.

    Mr Green said Privacy Awareness Week was the perfect opportunity to remind Queenslanders of their privacy rights and how privacy goes hand-in-hand with online safety.

    “Privacy and online safety are interconnected and this year the eSafety Commissioner joined us for the online launch of Privacy Awareness Week in Queensland. Ms Julie Inman Grant talked about the crossovers and how to stay safe online,” he said.

    “We have five simple tips that spell out the word SMART, making it easier for the community to remember and be privacy aware. I encourage people to visit the Office of the Information Commissioner’s website to find a range of helpful privacy tips to protect their personal information.”

    The five Privacy Awareness Week SMART tips for the community include:
    Secureyour personal information
    Multi-factorauthentication helps protect
    Activelycheck and update privacy settings
    ReadTs&Cs when signing up to apps and emails
    Thinktwice before sharing details on social media

    The online launch of Privacy Awareness Week includes video presentations from Mr Phil Green, Ms Inman Grant and Australia’s Information and Privacy Commissioner Ms Angelene Falk.

    While the week is an opportunity to raise awareness with the community, it’s also a reminder to public sector agencies of their responsibility to protect and respect personal information in the workplace.

    The Office of the Information Commissioner has released a range of SMART tips for the public sector, as well as privacy tips while working from home.

    In light of the recent Crime and Corruption Commission’s Operation Impala report recommendations, Mr Green said public sector leaders were encouraged to raise awareness about privacy, build good privacy practices into their agency’s day-to-day activities and manage risk.

    “With the help of public sector agencies, together we can promote the value of protecting and respecting personal information, and encourage a privacy-aware work culture that builds greater trust and transparency with Queenslanders.

    “This goes hand-in-hand with the Operation Impala report which highlighted the need for agencies to better manage and protect personal information, while adopting a more privacy-aware culture,” he said.
    Privacy Awareness Week 2020 in Queensland was officially launched on 5 May.

    PEACEFULLY Speaking

    I like HOW A.J.Muste talks about 'PEACE'. And it states: "There is no way to peace. Peace is the way".
    This quote by A.J.Muste reminds me of our now almost 6 weeks overseas travel here in Switzerland from Australia with my husband, Franco, a Swiss-Italian by heritage. This sudden and unplanned trip of ours is a result of my mother-in law's sudden hospitalisation early May this year and had to undergo an URGENT internal organ surgery. But more so, within her ten days in the hospital, she was AGAIN operated on TWICE consecutively ( now three operations!) in the same internal organ within a span of two days due to "some complications discovered", the Medical Team reported to us. It has been a highly worrying time for both my husband and myself for what was happening to his hospitalised mother - and also for the reason that he is the ONLY child of his parents and more so, my father-in-law had just passed away last year at the age of 93.
    Times like these have been very stressing, worrying and nerve wrecking for both of us. But for me, in times like this, my strong and miraculous WEAPON IS PRAYER! Prayer has given both my husband and my self deep STRENGTH, lasting HOPE, outward TRUST AND inner PEACE with ourselves amidst the chaos we have been going through! I deeply put ALL my concerns and worries in The Palm of HIS Hand! I have always believed that Our LORD JESUS CHRIST IS 'THE MIRACLE WORKER' and "With Him, NOTHING is impossible!" My mother-in law's condition has greatly improved overtime, and now has been transferred for already two weeks to a Rehabilitation Hospital and is now allowed to go home within a few days ( with regular hospital nurse visits and a recommended paid house helper to assist my mother-in-law in her daily meals and house chores/routines. GOD IS GOOD! HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER! Amen. Thank You, LORD for YOUR LOVE and MERCY!
    Below, I have therefore included THE PEACE PRAYER which I have been reading numerous times during the day and before going to bed at night during those tiring and challenging times while here in Switzerland! PRAISE GOD!

    THE PEACE PRAYER

    LET US PRAY that strength and courage abundant be given to all who work for a world of reason and understanding;

    THAT THE GOOD that lies in everyman's heart may day-by-day be magnified;

    THAT MEN WILL to see more clearly not that which divides them, but that which unites them;

    THAT EACH HOUR may bring us closer to a final victory, not of nation over nation, but of men over his own errors and weaknesses;

    THAT THE TRUE SPIRIT of mankind - it's joy, it's beauty, it's hope, may live among us;

    THAT THE BLESSINGS OF PEACE BE OURS - THE PEACE TO BUILD AND GROW, TO LIVE IN HARMONY AND SYMPATHY WITH OTHERS, AND TO PLAN FOR THE FUTURE WITH CONFIDENCE.
